Pierre Hessemans

Provisional Psychologist

Pierre is a provisional psychologist with AHPRA who is passionate about helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges and improve their psychological well-being. Originally from France, Pierre completed his psychology studies in Queensland and is currently finalising registration as a general psychologist.

Pierre takes a collaborative and client-centered approach, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their concerns and empowered to make meaningful changes. Drawing on evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Pierre tailors interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Pierre has experience supporting clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and interpersonal challenges, and is passionate about fostering resilience and personal growth.

Outside of work, Pierre enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
