Mikalha is a registered Psychologist with AHPRA and has completed her Masters at the University of Tasmania.
Mikalha is passionate about working with adolescents and adults and uses a warm and approachable manner to make her room a safe place for all.
Mikalha draws on a range of therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support her clients with a range of presentations. Mikalha brings to the team experience working therapeutically with Tasmania Police, as a support worker for college students and as an applied behavioural analysis therapist to young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has also volunteered using art as therapy for a young women’s shelter. In her free time, Mikalha enjoys playing soccer and guitar along with experiencing the joys of North-West Tasmania through surfing and bushwalking.
